Dorset cereals kindly offered to send me some porridge if I would review it on my blog.

Who am I to resist free porridge?

It comes in 3 flavours, and each box contains individual packets with the oats measured out (I am thinking these would be great for use when travelling).

The apple and raisin was lovely- it was full of little flakes of apple, and lots of raisins too. I added some cinnamon as I love the spicy flavour. The porridge cooks very quickly in the microwave, so if you are in a hurry it is great. The porridge has a really creamy texture too, which might be down to the porridge flakes being small.

The cranberry and raspberry flavour was lovely, definately my favourite- I thought it might be tart as the only added sugar was in the cranberries, but in fact it was perfect. They have a lovely refreshing flavour, a real zing!

The Simply Porridge again had a lovely creamy texture. There is not much else to say! It is porridge oats in a packet, the oats taste good, the porridge tastes good, add whatever topping you love
