The Teashed

I was recently contacted by Jules from The Teashed, a company that makes tea and also tea accessories (cute cups and pretty tea towels). They sent me a few flavours to try with the best instructions ever “please enjoy with a lovely chocolate biscuit“, so here is my review.

I love the names they give the tea!

First up, and rather predictably, I tried the chai tea, called “Baby it’s cold outside“. This was a lovely light chai tea, with hints of spices. “A black tea with the addition of cardamom. Cinnamon and ginger,” according to the website. I liked it, and if you find some chai teas too strong then this would be a good one to try.

Then I tried Northern Brew. Which is made with “Ceylon, which is particularly suited to the hard water generally found up north“. We have quite hard water where I live too. Anyway, this was a good quality strong black tea. I love the pyramid silky tea bags (or tea temples).

Finally the Skinny tea, which is whole leaf green tea.

This was refreshing and light, not too strong like some green tea can be.

These teas are lovely, and I like the style of the cups and things too. I think the website has some lovely gift ideas on it too- cupcake tea towels and pretty cups with saucers- very civilised! So check it out here :)

Thanks Jules :)
