Vita Coco

I have been having a little obsession with coconut water for a while now, and the lovely people at Vita Coco sent me a package for me to review!

A box with some 500ml sports cap bottles- Plain coconut water, Coconut water with Acai and Pomegranate, and Coconut water with Pineapple.

First up I tried the Coconut water with Acai and Pomegranate. I sometimes find pomegranate very sharp, but this was delicious and I will be having it again! I find it so refreshing. I am not much of a juice fan- I find it too sweet and sugary, so this is just right as it is sweet, and refreshing, but still watery enough for me. The ingredients are so simple- coconut water, acai juice, pomegranate juice and vitamin C, and with 19 cals per 100ml, 56% RDA of vitamin C and some calcium, potassium and magnesium it is good nutritionally too. 9/10 cherries :)

The plain coconut water was also delicious, so refreshing. I loved the sports cap bottles as they meant that I could have half one day, put it back in the fridge and have the other half the next day. 9/10 cherries

Then I tried the Coconut water with Pineapple. I am not sure if I had tried this before either (as Andy does not like pineapple and we often share stuff like this or add it to a smoothie) but again it was lovely. It was refreshing with a hint of pineapple, as opposed to being super sweet like actual pineapple juice. It is so refreshing after a hot and sweaty run- I really think that it helps to hydrate me better than water. Plus yet again an excellent ingredient list- coconut water, pineapple puree and coconut puree, vitamin C (and 25 cals per 100ml). 10/10 cherries :)

I love the plain coconut water as it is refreshing on its own, but also versatile enough to be added to smoothies. I love the flavoured water too- so delicious. I think the mango and peach is my favourite flavour (I love mango so much) but I am glad that I tried the pineapple and acai one, as I might not have picked them off the shelf. So thanks Vita Coco for letting me try these products- I am already stocking up my fridge because they are on offer in Ocado at the moment! :)

They also emailed to say that there are other offers too;
