The lovely people at Rawr sent me some of their organic raw chocolate to try. Even the package looked so pretty!

All the bars have short and simple ingredients- perfect. It says on their facebook page that non-organic chocolate has more pesticides than any other food- a great reason to go for organic chocolate. Each bar is 60g, so I tended to have half at one time as they were pretty big. I loved the way they were packaged too- wrapped in foil and then in a wrapper made with 100% recycled paper. another bonus is that they are made in Cambridge- nice and local.
The After Dinner was my favourite. I love mint chocolate, but sometimes the mint can be overpowering. This was perfect and delicious. All it contained was cacao butter, cacao paste, agave nectar, cacao powder, carob, mint oil and vanilla. Amazing.
The Zest orange chocolate was tasty, with a smooth texture. I would have liked the orange taste to be a little stronger, but it was lovely.
The Passion (goji and vanilla) was probably my least favourite, but I have never really found goji berries that great. I did love the big red chunks- very pretty (they made up 9% of the bar) and the chocolate was fine, I just never think goji flavour is very strong. But that is just me. If you like/love gojis then you would probably love this.
The Purity dark chocolate was lovely and smooth and dark. All the bars have some carob in them too, which I really like as it adds something a little different to the bars.
I thought the chocolate bars were all tasty, and I will be looking out for the mint one as it was delicious. You can order online and you get free postage with orders over £10- not bad at all.
Thanks Rawr!
